US Delta IV Rocket With Two Space Awareness Satellites Takes Off in Florida
05:56 GMT 19.08.2016 (Updated: 16:58 GMT 12.04.2023) Delta IV rocket with a mission to deliver two Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) satellites to near-geosynchronous orbit was launched from the US state of Florida Friday, the United Launch Alliance (ULA) company said.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The satellites were manufactured by Orbital ATK on the US Department of Defense request and are designed
to collect information on the size, location and status of space objects.
"LIFTOFF!" ULA posted in its official Twitter account.
