Egypt Ready to Create Separate Security Zones for Russian Tourists in Airports
On Monday, Egypt's Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy said that the next Russian airport safety delegation would pay a visit to Egypt on August 29 to inspect security measures in Cairo, Sham el-Sheikh and Hurghada airports.

"Our experts positively assess the situation and say that, if the situation develops with the same dynamics, then flights will be resumed in the second half of October," Osaulenko told the Russian Izvestia newspaper.

Russia suspended all flights to and from Egypt last fall after a Russian A321 plane crashed in the Sinai desert on October 31 while flying from the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh to St. Petersburg following a terrorist attack claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group, outlawed in Russia.

All 224 people on board died in what has become the largest civil aviation disaster in Russian history.
