"Russia takes colossal steps in providing humanitarian aid to the people of Syria, residents of Syria. And we absolutely do not separate the residents of Syria according to the religious, ethnic principal," Dolgov told journalists at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency roundtable.
Russia has been providing food, medicines and construction materials to besieged and hard-to-reach areas in Syria since the beginning of 2016.
"What we are doing is not just Aleppo but other regions as well… Speaking objectively, Russian efforts are a very important factor facilitating, along with the fight against terrorism, the normalization of the humanitarian situation in Syria. There is a list of humanitarian tasks being underway in Iraq as well," he added.
Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with government forces loyal to President Bashar Assad fighting a number of opposition factions and extremist groups.
