TALLINN (Sputnik) — Over 200 people were evacuated on Saturday from the Tallinn airport after one of the passengers announced that there was a bomb in his luggage, a spokesman for the North Prefecture of the Police and Border Guard Board said.
"On Saturday morning one of the passengers reported that there was an explosive device in his luggage. After that more than 200 people were evacuated from the airport. Nothing suspicious has been found," Seiko Kuik said, as quoted by the Postimees newspaper.
He added that the man, who reported about the bomb had already been detained.
According to Estonian legislation, the man could face up to five years of imprisonment for such an action.
