Republican nominee faced fierce blowback in the wake of seemingly celebrating the death of NBA super star Dwyane Wade’s cousin as something beneficial to his candidacy, but nobody pushed slammed Trump harder than the Oscar nominated actor.

Yahoo News explained it best by saying "it’s a day ending in 'y' and so it is that Donald Trump has sparked another firestorm of criticism," as the world piled on the bombastic billionaire for his emotionally deranged response to learning of the tragic death of 32-year-old Nykea Aldridge, Dwyane Wade’s cousin who was shot and killed Friday night in Chicago.

Nobody can doubt that Donald Trump deserved what came his way on Saturday morning when he tweeted almost gleefully, “Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”

Ignoring the fact that the candidate misspelled the NBA star’s name, a child just lost her mother on the hard streets of Chicago and Trump could hardly wait to politicize the death spinning it into his not so eloquent position that "black people can’t walk down the street without getting SHOT! You can’t walk down the streets without getting SHOT! You have a right not to get shot."

The ever articulate position that black people shouldn’t be shot is what candidate Trump considers to be his general election pivot in order to curry favor among African American voters with recent polling showing the candidate only garnering 8% support among the black electorate. Trump believes he can change that tide with his very targeted message of "What the hell do you have to lose?"

Don Cheadle lobbed a fierce volley of heat sinking Twitter missiles at Trump first by calling him a "POS" or "piece of s---," calling for the Republican to "die in a grease fire," blaming the candidate’s “ilk” of creating the conditions of chaos that exist in Chicago and other cities throughout the country.

Former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann joined the pile on saying "Next Time you congratulate yourself after a murder – you psychopath – spell the name right #Pig."

Notably, Dwyane Wade stayed above the fray refusing to provide fuel for the fire and instead calling on the world to come together to fight for the kids of Chicago.

This is not even the first time that Donald Trump has fallen into this particular type of controversy having been blasted by anybody in the public possessing empathy for others after celebrating the Orlando terror attack as proving him right rather than providing his condolences and a vision for the future.

Trump’s outreach to black voters had already been described by people as akin to nails on a chalkboard, but the latest act of political grandstanding on the heels of a tragedy will no doubt make the candidate’s path to the presidency that much harder with minorities making up over 30% of the electorate.
