The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) could publicly release the report, in which it recommended not to lay charges against former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who used a private server and address to send or receive emails with classified information during her tenure, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — As soon as on Wednesday, FBI could release the report that was sent to the Justice Department in July with recommendations not to lay charges on Clinton, the CNN broadcaster reported citing multiple local officials.

The broadcaster added that the report, as well as the document containing the information obtained during the interviews with Clinton conducted by the agency's staff.

During the FBI probe of Clinton’s use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, investigators discovered 110 email that contained classified information at the time they were sent or received.

In July, FBI Director James Comey described Clinton’s use of the email server as "extremely careless," but that her behavior did not warrant criminal charges.
