VLADIVOSTOK (Sputnik) — The Eastern Economic Forum is set to open in the Russian city of Vladivostok on Friday. The forum, which is due to last through Saturday, is expected to attract some 2,500 participants, from countries including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Australia, the United States and Singapore.
"We are promoting our investment platforms with Japan and South Korea. We will discuss these platforms as well as the intensification of the work of Russian-Japanese and Russian-Korean platforms at the meeting with Japanese Prime Minister [Shinzo] Abe and [South] Korean President Park [Geun-hye]," Dmitriev told reporters.
