WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US astronauts Jeff Williams and Kate Rubins have begun a six-and-a-half hour spacewalk at the International Space Station to install an enhanced high definition camera and tighten bolts on the station’s joint, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced on Thursday.
The spacewalk began at 7:53 a.m. ET (11:53 a.m. GMT), according to NASA.
