Gazprom Plans to Supply Russian Far East With West Siberian Gas - Putin
VLADIVOSTOK (Sputnik) — The second Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) is taking place on September 2-3 on the campus of Russia’s Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island near the city of Vladivostok.

"The overall growth in consumption is 2.6 percent, compared to the same period in 2015. This is a factor that has worked to increase the [exports] volume. And such a factor as natural index for the EU states was favorable in the first six months for the supply of gas to the European market. In general, everything projects the [same] picture that we see today…. The trends are sufficiently objective, the factors [of exports increase] continue to work," Miller told journalists, answering weather the gas exports would grow in the coming year.

He recalled that Gazprom indicated almost a 10-percent export growth since the beginning of 2016.

In 2015, Gazprom increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 8 percent, compared to 2014.
