Turkish Airstrikes Destroy Three Daesh-Held Buildings Near Syria's Jarablus
The Turkish air force carried out strikes against the Daesh terrorist group near the recently liberated northern Syrian town of Jarablus, the Turkish General Staff said Friday.
ANKARA (Sputnik) — The strikes, which used guided bombs to avoid civilian casualties, hit and destroyed three buildings seized by Daesh fighters, the General Staff said.

On August 24, Turkish forces, backed by US-led coalition aircraft,
began a military operation dubbed Euphrates Shield to clear Jarablus and the surrounding area of Daesh presence.
On Thursday, the General Staff said that over 260 targets have been hit by airstrikes since the start of the operation without specifying whether some of these were Kurdish forces, which are also targeted by the operation, instead of Daesh.
Syrian Kurds and Damascus have accused Ankara of violating the territorial integrity of the country.
Daesh, which is a militant jihadist group outlawed in many countries, including Russia, overran large parts of Syria and Iraq in 2014 amid the ongoing Syrian civil war.
