MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The French presidential elections are scheduled for spring 2017.
"The Brits have chosen their destiny and decided to leave the European Union. They made the choice of independence… I will hold a referendum on France's EU membership because you have the right to speak out… Yes, my friends, it is possible to change things," Le Pen told her supporters.
According to the poll conducted shortly after the UK decision on Brexit, 52 percent of the French said that Brexit was negative for the European Union. According to the same poll, 55 percent of the French respondents were not ready to repeat Britain's move.
