HANGZHOU (Sputnik) — The Group of Twenty (G20) leaders have agreed to strengthen monetary, fiscal and structural policy coordination, according to a draft version of the Hangzhou communique seen by Sputnik.
"We will pursue innovative growth concepts and policies by forging synergy among fiscal, monetary and structural policies," the Hangzhou Consensus said.
According to a section of the communique dedicated to "Integration," this should contribute to enhancing coherence between economic, labor, employment and social policies.
It should also help in "combining demand management with supply side reforms, short-term with mid-to-long-term policies, economic growth with social development and environmental protection," according to the draft.
