MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission's (SMM) vehicle was set on fire in western Ukrainian city of Ivano-Frankivsk, the OSCE said on Wednesday.
"At 22:49 (EET) [20:49 GMT] on 6 September the security guard of the SMM office located in central Ivano-Frankivsk noted on the CCTV camera that an SMM vehicle (Nissan Patrol) in the parking lot was on fire and called the fire brigade," the spot report on the OSCE website read.
The OSCE has been tasked with monitoring the implementation of the Minsk deal provisions on settling the conflict between Kiev and the pro-independence militias in the country's east. The Minsk accords include a full ceasefire and weapons withdrawal from the line of contact. The SMM reports on ceasefire violations by both sides.
