“In late 90’s, together with my friend, a designer, we launched a porn chat website. Since we had no money to hire women, I designed a web bot to simulate conversations. However, the website did not achieve great results, and I have long forgotten about it,” Roni Bandini, an Argentinian journalist, author and programmer, and the man behind this rather unusual social and technological experiment, told Sputnik.
@SilEverywhere Nestor prometió que iba a construir un país normal y acá lo tenemos. Entienda eso.

“Nestor promised to build a normal country, and it is in front of us. Understand this.” (Nestor Kirchner is a former president of Argentina and Cristina's husband).
Last year, the programmer came up with the idea to combine a porn-bot account with Twitter. His web-bot is a hybrid of the classic chat-bot with a more advanced database processing technology and information management.
“To my surprise, people did not notice a thing. Some even believed that the account belonged to Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. Despite the majority understanding that it is fake, no one actually guessed that it is a web-bot,” said Bandini to Sputnik.
@eljugenio Insisto, Bueno, basta de giladas, hablemos de los temas importantes, de mi proyecto de país y eso

“I insist, enough of silliness, let's talk about important topics like my project …”
“Perhaps it relates to politics, but to Twitter as well as to our manners to speak,” said the programmer about his work.
Since Bandini was not asked to close this fake account, it continues to operate.
“The account CFKArgentina [official account of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner] has a blue Twitter icon, meaning its authenticity. The general nature of this project makes it clear that the account’s goal was never to impersonate the Argentinian ex-president. In fact, to do this, you do not really need a bot. Perhaps that is the reason why I was never contacted by the authorities about this,” Roni Bandini told Sputnik.
