BELGRAD (Sputnik) – The man shouted "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great" in Arabic) while attacking police officers, who shot him in the leg after warning shots and detained.
The assailant committed the attack when police tried to serve a writ on him.
The attacker reportedly converted to Islam three years ago. He posed himself as a Wahhabi supporter and publicly threatened with mass executions.
