MINSK (Sputnik) — Earlier polls gave Democrat Hillary Clinton a lead over the Republican, but the real-estate mogul has been gaining on Clinton and they are now running neck-and-neck.
"Should this dynamic last, he will win by a margin of at least 5-7 percent," the Eastern European nation’s leader told reporters in Minsk.
Lukashenko gave credit to the former US secretary of state for having a long political career and knowing ins and outs of White House politics. "The US won’t see a presidential candidate like her anytime soon," he predicted.
