"Luxembourg's Foreign and European Affairs Minister Jean Asselborn is due in Moscow on September 13 with a working visit. Among the topics that will be raised during his talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be the current state of and possible ways forward in developing Russia- Luxembourg cooperation on urgent global issues," it continued.
The focus will be on Russia’s relationship with the European Union, the crises in Ukraine, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the fight against terrorism and "other contemporary challenges."
The Russian Foreign Ministry described Russia’s bilateral relations with the small Western European nation as flourishing, saying they have maintained robust political dialog at the highest level in recent years.
