MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Over 74 percent of voters have taken part in the election of the Belarusian House of Representatives of the National Assembly, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said Sunday.
"The final voter turnout amounts to 74.32 percent," the commission said.
The highest voter turnout was in the regions of Mogilev and Vitebsk, where over 80 percent of voters took part in the election.
The lowest voter turnout was in Minsk, where about 61 percent of voters took part in the election, according to CEC.
The final voter turnout in 2012 parliamentary election amounted to 74.61 percent.
