MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least one person was killed and five were injured in a shooting incident in Birmingham, Alabama shortly after a peace rally took place nearby, local media said.
The incident took place at the Gate City housing community, with all victims being bystanders, the al.com news website reported, citing local police, late on Sunday.
A large number of people attending the peace rally in nearby Lewis Park were still outside when the incident took place, according to the news outlet.
