Russia, India Ready to Sign Kudankulam NPP Unit 5, 6 Construction Deal This Fall
Russia and India are ready to sign an agreement on the construction of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant’s fifth and sixth units this fall, Russia's state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom CEO Sergey Kirienko said Monday.

NOVO-OGAREVO (Moscow Region) (Sputnik) – Kudankulam's second unit was inaugurated early last month and connected to the power grid on August 29.
“We are actively working on the third and fourth [units], work is underway. We have also agreed with the Indian partners and are ready to sign the fifth and sixth units in the fall,” Kirienko said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
