MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Explosives experts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) introduced a three-day training course to Ukrainian bomb specialists, Ukraine's National Police said on Tuesday.
"US technicians demonstrated their forensic methods of inspection of the accident scene upon the explosion of an improvised explosive device in the closest to combat operation conditions," the statement says.
According to the authority, the course was presented in Kiev and Lviv regions and consisted of theoretical and practical parts, each trainee received a certificate testifying to the successful completion of the classes.
Cooperation between FBI and Kiev is generally marked on official level. In June, the FBI and Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau concluded a Memorandum establishing partnership in combating international money laundering and Ukrainian high-level official bribery.
