MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Rosneft has carried out the first delivery of oil products to Greece's Hellenic Petroleum SA, the Russian company said in a statement.
“A 30,000 ton batch of fuel oil has been loaded on the tanker Kriti Rock at the port of Tuapse for subsequent transportation to the port of destination, Aspropyrgos,” the statement reads.
In May, Rosneft and Hellenic Petroleum signed an agreement that allows the Russian company to sell oil products from Hellenic Petroleum’s refineries, for bunkering and trading purposes.
“The parties simultaneously agreed on the delivery of the first batch of CPC Blend oil in late September. They also discussed possible options for Rosneft to sell oil products from Hellenic Petroleum’s refineries,” the statement reads.
