MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Fair and equal conditions were created for all candidates in Russia’s upcoming parliamentary elections, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
Elections to the Russian State Duma are due to take place on Sunday.
"The electoral campaign is coming to an end. Even conditions for open, fair competition were created for all of its members, so they could identify their position on various problems, suggest ways to resolve them, while the voters could objectively assess, compare programs, goals, deeds and achievements of parties and candidates," Putin said in a speech.
