UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) – On Thursday, it was reported that the next ministerial meeting on Syria would be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 21 and was expected to become an opportunity for the resumption of negotiations in Geneva.
"They are talking all the time," Churkin told journalists on Friday, when asked about the date of the next meeting between Lavrov and Kerry, adding "first of all they are planning as co-chairs of the International Syria Support Group to have a meeting of this International Syria Support Group [on Tuesday morning]…and there is a bilateral meeting planned as well."
