New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said the explosion was "intentional" but there was no evidence to classify it as a terrorist attack.
“There is no evidence at this point of a terror connection to this incident, this is a preliminary information,” de Blasio told journalists.
The police have found another suspected improvised explosive device made of a pressure cooker, wires and a cell phone.
