MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Iraqi Baghdad Post internet news portal has posted an article alleging that the center, which has been set up by Russia, Iraq, Iran and Syria to coordinate the fight against Daesh terrorists, has folded its operations, including data exchange on counter-terrorism operations.
"We must stress that this article is nothing by a piece of blatant disinformation, which is far from reality," the ministry said in a statement.
"The Baghdad center remains an important tool of practical cooperation among all participants of the fight against the Islamic State [Daesh] terrorist organization…while all our partners have reaffirmed their interest in further development of such cooperation," the statement said.
