The US-Russian brokered cessation of hostilities agreement for Syria is in jeopardy after a UN-Syrian Arab Red Crescent aid convoy traveling to Aleppo was struck on Monday.
Around 20 people were killed in the incident and much of the aid was destroyed, according to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Earlier on Tuesday, members of the International Syria Support Group met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly to discuss the ceasefire.
UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said the multilateral group will meet again on Friday to try to salvage the ceasefire deal.
