MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On Monday, the United Nations’ Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that the aid convoy crossed the conflict line in the Big Orem area of the Syrian city of Aleppo. Later in the day, UN officials stated that the convoy had been shelled and there were casualties.
"We do not know exactly whom that attack came from. It is not possible for us to know so quickly after the event what the source of the attack was or who was directly involve but what we do know whenever the convoy moves all relevant Military authorities are informed after movement together with the exact plan of what is going to happen," the official said.
