MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Six parties have made it to the Russian State Duma of the seventh convocation as a result of the Sunday elections, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Nikolai Bulayev said.
"United Russia gets 343 mandates, the Communist Party gets 42 mandates, the Liberal Democrat Party – 39 mandates, A Just Russia – 23 mandates, Rodina – 1, Civic Platform – one, and one mandate goes to a self-nominated candidate," Bulayev said during a late night Thursday meeting of the CEC.
