MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia expects a positive outcome from an upcoming meeting among oil producing countries, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov said Thursday.
"Positively," Molodtsov said on the margins of a global oil market conference when asked to assess the chances of the countries agreeing on a plan to limit production and prop up prices.
OPEC member states are expected to renew talks on a possible oil output freeze with non-member states at the September 26-28 International Energy Forum (IEF) in Algiers, Algeria.
