SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) — German entrepreneurs plan to invest over 250 million euro ($280 million) in Crimea, the press service of the local government said in an press release on Saturday.
"German entrepreneurs plan to invest over 250 million euro in Sevastopol and Crimea," the press statement read following the meeting with the businessmen.
The press service added that the Germans offered projects in waste recycling, roads and tourist infrastructure building with further investments as soon as global political situation stabilizes.
Crimea rejoined Russia in 2014, after an overwhelming majority of voters supported the historic reunification in a referendum.
