"It is really very bad news that they [the US and Russia] arrived to some agreements to stop fighting in Syria and then these agreements were broken. It is very bad news. I hope that in future days, I don’t mean near weeks, near days, near minutes, but both parts will reserve the situation otherwise these people [in Syria] will be totally crushed, this country will be absolutely crushed. I think that the free investigation must be open to clarify this point and make guilty to who it must be guilty. But in any case it must not stop the final objective which is to stop the aggression between each other in Syria. The main objective is to stop the war [in Syria], not to make guilty each other and continue the war," Vila said.
On September 9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry brokered a ceasefire in Syria that took effect three days later. The agreement called for unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid and stipulated that only designated terror groups would be targeted in military strikes.
