MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Pemex, a state-run oil company, its tanker "Burgos" was specifically designed to carry oil and the way it was constructed eliminated any spill danger.
The crew was evacuated from the ship, the company tweeted earlier.
The fire occurred off the coast of Veracruz state in eastern Mexico.
