MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On September 20, a delegation of Russian security experts arrived in Cairo. Later, it was divided into two groups, with one carrying out inspections in Hurghada, and the other – in Sharm el-Sheikh. The Russian security experts left Egypt on Sunday.
"He [Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov] has not announced the results of a trip. According to the preliminary information, which we have, it looks like everything is in order in Cairo already," Dvorkovich told journalists.
Russia grounded charter flights to Red Sea resort cities after an Airbus A321 plane flying to St. Petersburg crashed soon after taking off from Sharm El-Sheikh on October 31. All 224 people aboard died as a result of what was classified by the investigation as a terrorist attack.
