MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, media reports emerged that there was a possibility of Nuland's visit to Russia before the US presidential election.
"We are not aware of such plans," Karasin told journalists Monday.
On June 23, Nuland arrived in Moscow to discuss the implementation of Minsk agreements on Ukrainian reconciliation. The Kremlin confirmed that she was expected to meet with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
