MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On September 20-21, CAAC/ATMB and Rosaviatsiya held bilateral negotiations in Shanghai, which resulted in the respective agreement, according to the statement.
"Substantial agreements were made on a number of key issues, including the opening of new flight corridors in the space above the Russian-Chinese border," the statement reads.
The parties also agreed to facilitate cooperation between air traffic controllers and national providers of air navigation services and to exchange information on navigation systems, the statement added.
