WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — On September 11, the officer, identified as 27-year-old Brian Trainer, killed Terrence Sterling, 31, after he allegedly rammed a police car with his motorcycle.
"This video is footage recorded by an MPD officer's body worn camera showing the MPD response to a call for a motorcyclist driving erratically, which resulted in a police-involved shooting," the MPD said in a statement.
The video, that lasts about 6 minutes, shows Sterling bleeding on the ground while the officer performs emergency procedures on him.
The MPD has placed officer Trainer on administrative leave.
