ALGIERS (Sputnik) — An informal meeting of OPEC oil producers is scheduled to take place on the sidelines of an energy forum in Algiers this week. It is expected to be attended by the Russian energy minister.
Minister Suhail Mohammed Faraj Mazroui told reporters in Algiers his country was positive about the possible agreement, adding that it would support any collective decision aimed at curbing oil price slumps.
