Deal on Oil Production Freeze Could be Finalized in November
ALGIERS (Sputnik) – The ability of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member states to reach an agreement on oil production freeze depends on whether they are able to agree on the issue with Iran, UAE Governor for OPEC Ahmed Mohamed Alkaabi told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"It depends on what they [OPEC ministers] will reach with Iran," he said asked whether oil producing countries would be able to reach consensus on oil output freeze later in the day on the sidelines of the International Energy Forum.

He added that the UAE energy minister was currently holding bilateral meetings on the topic and specific proposals of levels of oil output freeze would be clearer around 10.30 a.m. local time (09:30 GMT).
