WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Two students and a teacher were shot at Townville Elementary School in Anderson County, South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon.
"We know that two of the students were both white males, the teacher was a white female, the teacher is a juvenile — he’s a white male. There’s no racial overtones there [and] there’s no terrorism involved," Major stated.
The 14-year-old gunman who was arrested after opening fire in the Townville Elementary School killed his father before injuring two pupils, local media reported citing police.
"The man found dead on Osborne Road was the father of the [elementary school] shooting suspect," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper reported on Wednesday.
