"I believe that there is a chance to reanimate these agreements. This needs to be addressed," Kinshchak said.
Moscow considers the agreement it reached with Washington on Syrian settlement the most optimal plan to achieve reconciliation in this country, Russian ambassador to Syria said.
"This is the most optimal and adequate program of actions which is able to ensure the normalization of the situation in Syria, reduce violence, improve the humanitarian situation and create the necessary atmosphere to launch a real, serious political dialogue between the Syrian sides on reconciliation in the country," the ambassador said.
Moscow is not trying to develop alternative agreements on Syria to those reached with the United States, Alexander Kinshchak told Sputnik.
"Russia will continue working with the United States, regional sides and the International Syria Support Group in order to convince them that there is no alternative to this peace plan. We did not work out any other plans. Russia has no hidden agenda," Kinshchak said.
