MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in the Yemeni port city of Aden on Saturday, killing one and wounding several civilians, media reported.
The explosion took place in the Crater district, however, the law enforcement officials have not confirmed so far who was behind the blast, the Al Arabiya broadcaster reported.
In August, as a result of a terrorist attack in Aden, 71 people were killed and 98 sustained injuries.
Yemen has been engulfed in a military conflict between the government headed by President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and Houthi rebels since 2014. The Houthis are backed by army units loyal to former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
