"According to what I said in a press release on September 23, and in the absence of a satisfactory response from Société d’Exploitation des Ports du Détroit [the company that operates the port] I took a decree interrupting the construction works of the wall near the port bypass," Bouchart said on her Twitter account.
She added that it was found that the construction was started on the municipal land without receiving an approval of local authorities.
