WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Russia's withdrawal from the bilateral plutonium agreement with the United States should not be linked to the US suspension of talks on the Syrian ceasefire, US Department of State spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau said in a briefing on Monday.
Asked if the suspension of Syria talks was related to Russia’s suspension of the plutonium treaty, Trudeau said, “I would not link those.”
