ASTANA (Sputnik) — Sokolov said at the 13th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum focused on EEU transport and logistics that the planned Moscow-Kazan high-speed network would be part of the Moscow-Beijing transport corridor.
"In this regard it would be possible to examine the prospect of creating a network of high-speed highways and agree on a common approach in the Eurasian region," Sokolov said.
The EEU comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The bloc aims to facilitate a greater economic integration between its member states, including a streamlined flow of goods, services, capital and labor.
