WASHINGTON (Sputnik), Leandra Bernstein — Given the complexity of the current US-Russian relations and Trump’s personal qualities, he would match up "poorly" against Putin, Schwartz stated.

"[Trump] is a man who has not got a great deal of emotional equanimity and he is easily provoked," Schwartz said.

In July, Schwartz, who co-wrote Trump’s 1987 autobiography, ‘The Art of the Deal,’ issued a series of scathing personal critiques against the billionaire turned presidential candidate.

In response to Schwartz’s public criticism, Trump issued a cease and desist order and threatened further legal action against his former ghost-writer.
