MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian and French companies, especially those operating in Normandy, have great potential for business cooperation, the French region's president, Herve Morin, said on Friday.
"There is great potential for cooperation between Russian and French companies, especially those in Normandy," Morin said, as he met with Konstantin Kosachev, the head of the Russian Federation Council's Foreign Affairs Committee, in Moscow.
The French official added that Russia's Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev planned to send one of his deputies in November to Normandy, France's key farming region.
Morin, who is accompanied by some 20 French entrepreneurs, explained that his visit aimed to establish long-term ties with Russia.
