TBILISI (Sputnik) — "The Georgian Dream [party] scores 53.42 percent of votes, or 66,642 ballots, the United National Movement scores 24.69 percent of votes which is 30,807 ballots," the CEC statement said.
According to the CEC statement, other parties have not managed to cross the five-percent threshold so far.
On Saturday, Georgia elected its legislature in accordance with the mixed voting system. According to Georgia's legislation, 77 lawmakers are elected proportionately to the share of votes given to parties' lists and 73 parliamentarians are elected in single-mandate electoral districts.
