WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The vice president said he wants Clinton to win because of who she is and what she cares about.
"I know how much she cares. You know, there’s a double standard," Biden stated on Thursday. "There’s a different standard, so it’s harder for Hillary to show her heart."
Biden compared Clinton’s situation to that of President Obama, saying Obama cannot get as upset or passionate as he [Biden], because the president would likely be stereotyped as an angry black man.
Biden added that while he knows Clinton will win the election in November, it is not enough for her to defeat rival Republican candidate Donald Trump because Trump is unqualified for the presidency.
