MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier on Thursday, a decree was published on the Russian Cabinet saying that Russia had terminated a 20-year cooperation agreement with Ukraine on the use of oil product pipelines.
"This is absolutely a technical point. The current supply of petroleum products is not affected," Transneft spokesman Igor Demin told RIA Novosti.
The agreement signed on July 26, 1995, envisioned oil product operation along two pipelines stretching across Russia and Ukraine and operated by Transnefteproduct, a member of the Transneft joint-stock company.
